I wonder how many people actually will return to that game, patches or not...but if they do and I decide to do so too, they will wish they didn't, just simply because their now 50-80 yr old selves will be easy pickings for me and my youthful, energetic and highly talented mind/body combo

Ut2k4 is still being actively played and even maintained to a point from what I gather. This _may_ indeed revitalize the game a bit.... "a bit" being the word here.

In general I do draw my hat before Epic here. Much negative can be said about Epic Megagames (Fortnite, legal fiasco, delisting of older games from all shops, shutdown of master servers...) but them allowing this auto installer is a very good sign and nod to the players and the community.

I'm not sure how the cdkey situation with the game is right now, but once it is "free", I would assume anyone can play, not just people who formerly owned it and kept their key around, unless there are already "versions" you could have used to play online, which I clearly do not know of... As a man of integrity I never deal in shady software business

Van, if you can not hold the water anymore and there are small leaks, you might consider changing to smaller glass bottles instead of the big plastic ones :p

Hi folks! I've recently came back to the game, feels great to play it again. I was around in 2015-2017 period, but here I am again actually playing UT2K4 quite frequently. Im remember good old days playing with you when I was 13-15, now Im close to 34, lol. I hope you're doing fine and still around here somewhere! Im mostly playing on public servers but sometimes we catch up with some colleagues and play our private servers. I guess it wouldn't be bad to do so with our case. Anyone interested in playing some DM/ONS/TDM/TAM... well, any ganemode? ;D

Sorry for the late reply, I only just found that the forum had been fixed again

I play Freon most nights on Piggy's Mia Server and sometimes on the New Server (which also has TAM). There are a few others who play on the New Server who you might recognise .
