Hello Carnage.
Is it possible to remove BLASTBARK from the ONS server please.
Thought about making it more playable by adding more manta,avrils etc.
But it would be just flogging a dead horse.
Spoke to Coco last night and he agreed that it should be removed and I
suggested that he should make a request on the forum but he said that
no one would listen to him! Shocked

Too many lamers just uses it as a spawnkilling playground,the good players
avoid doing this but there is always someone that breaks the rules.

Then I aggree with you. If you guys that play ONS all the time do not like it, then we need to get rid of it, and I don't understand what Coco is talking about, that noone listens to him.

Hi!

Well, the main problem is that the team which is in defense position (that means that the enemy controls the three middle nodes) has absolutely no chance to come back. The reason: They have no AVRILs (while the enemy has them) and just two flying vehicles for the whole team. But still, it's a long way to walk to attack the enemy's nodes. That means that more than half of the team has to go there by foot and is permanently shot down by a camping tank on their way or the damn spiders that lie everywhere. At this point, you can stop playing and let the enemy win. Otherwise you just play spawn-and-die once again until overtime is reached (which I personally don't like at all, so I'll rather go spectate or leave the server).

But maybe, we could try to add AVRILs to the core weapon lockers as a first attempt prior to removing the map.

I don't mean this in general, of course. But I applied to remove Bitchslap, Spiffingrad and Dreamus, the three maps that annoy me the most and that I don't play anymore. But excpet me, no one seems to care about it. For Dreamus, there's a new (and better) version meanwhile, but I still don't like it that much...

For people like me, who don't know the maps by their name and have to look at them to recognize them, I've uploaded two screenshots (see below).

My opinion: The map is really a bit unbalanced, because the nodes are clearly visible and not protected by some kind of wall. Also, the weapons you get when you spawn at the core are not good enough to have a chance taking down enemy snipers (I'd like a LG there).
I don't know if those problems can be fixed, but I would not be very sad if the map was taken off the server.

Also you could remove ONS-UNKSNIPERPARADISE. Its totally unplayable map.

Well, reading the comments here, I once again notice how different the tastes of different players are. So I have a suggestion:
How about creating a list of all maps in question and vote for them seperately? Not all at once, of course, but one after the other. We should only keep/install maps which get a certain score or higher. We can either do it in a public area (so the regular players also get a chance to vote) or in a TCP only section.

How do you think about it? In case you like the idea, I would do the job and create the list and thread(s) to organise it.

Why not leave them, and vote other map.

I'm sure if the people dont like it, will vote with ya, and some other time other people play there.

And they might wanna play maps like bitchslap etc. Very Happy
